Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. We’re always adding a
“Twist" to Our services and We have a big one. We’ve opened a Salon! And we’re off the Road. An Accident in March, 2024. Required us to adapt!
The Salon is located in Cromwell Farms Norfolk, 23505. Service is private, with min to no dog overlap. Mobile will return in the future.

Twisted Tailz Mobile Pet Spa is a local Norfolk business, owned and operated by Stephanie Wasser. We are a husband & wife team working to provides a boutique style salon and Personal Pet stylist experience for our local four-legged community members.

We offer a wide range of services and specialties (including Hand-stripping!!) to help bring your pooch to optimum health and beauty, with a focus on skin! Twisted Tailz formed from generations of pet care knowledge and self-advancement: including Veterinarian Shadows, PetTech CPR and First aid Certified, Apprenticing and handling with top conformation(AKC dog shows) handlers, Classes in Asian Fusion and Hand-stripping.
From blood circulating Scrubs to adorable cuts, bath oils for your dog’s health and betterment is our top priority. Followed closely by making sure they are ready to “walk the red carpet”, incase their "Royal Cuteness" is required to attend the next Gala.
Everyone feels better after a relaxing bath, and dogs are no different. Our 62" Tub allows for the biggest of dogs to stretch out and chill, while we dote on them. We use only Luxury human grad cosmetic shampoos & conditioners, with no harsh chemicals and they are naturally derived. No Silicones! That includes our De-shed processes.
All pleasantly scented, and scents focused to calm, with a hypoallergenic option for sensitive noses & skin, just let us know! Tearless, lick safe, Face Wash with brightness enhancers for the perfect puppy dog pout. High Velocity dyer to remove the loose undercoat, regular grooming will keep shedding under control! (Less for you to vacuum with regular grooming) Dogs bring seasonal allergens into your home. Wash it away and everyone will sleep better!

WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?
Currently I service mainly Norfolk, but Have specific Portsmouth, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach days available! Contact us to find out when!
HOW MANY DOGS DO YOU WORK ON AT A TIME?
We do have plenty of space for 2 dogs, with 2 seperate grooming stations in the van and salon. In most cases, it will be one at a time. However some siblings maybe placed together if the owner prefers. If we are parked at events, we may have 2 dogs going at a time if we have the available help.
MY PET NEEDS TO GO TO THE VET FOR AN EMERGENCY, WILL YOU TAKE THEM?
If an emergency injury were to occurs, we are PetTech CPR and First aid Certified, they will be brought in immediately. If the owner is not home during service, the pets listed veterinarian will be contact if available or they will be taken to the nearest emergency vet, whichever is fastest. Your pets health comes first!
DO YOU GROOM CATS?
At this time we do not have a small animal groomer. We only specialize in dogs. We do hope to expand to grooming different common pets in the future, so stay tuned!
DO YOU EXPRESS ANAL GLANDS? AND WHY NOT?
We will not express any dogs anal glands. Even though this is common practice for many groomers, we believe that blocked anal glands is medical condition that needs to be diagnosed by a veterinarian. Our main concern is, If their glands are expressed when they are not overfill or having trouble releasing on their own, than unnecessary expression could lead to inefficiency in self expression. Which leads to obsessive licking/biting/itching/odor of the anus in the future. No fun!
